| General | fiction writing, vintage graphics, vintage books, photography, art, collage, scrapbooking, hiking, libraries and bookstores, walking in the woods, hugging and kissing. | | Music | The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Lettermen, Eagles, Beach Boys, Moody Blues, Enya, Mike Oldfield, Kitaro, Peter Frampton, Led Zeppelin, and lots more. | | Movies | Anime such as Ghost in the Shell, and anything by Hayao Miyazaki, including Whispers of the Heart and My Neighbor Totoro. I like offbeat movies such as Lost in Translation, Wings of Desire (German), Time Bandits, Labyrinth, What the Bleep Do We Know, Lost Horizon (the original), and just about anything that Turner Movie Classics is playing. Old sci-fi appeals to me, too, titles like Forbidden Planet, This Island Earth, and scores more. I am a big fan of movies which contain special effects done by Ray Harryhausen from sci-fi, to the fantastic fantasies of the old Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts flicks. Got a monster, myth, swashbuckler, or a legend? I'm probably a fan. Pirate movies are my little escape -- let's just say, Captain Jack Sparrow is more than a passing thought. More current movie favorites include the epic, Chronicles of Narnia, which is really in a category by itself. Indiana Jones, how can I forget you? xoxo | | Television | I like Bones, Dead Like Me, Eureka, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Star Trek, and Turner Movie Classics. Also a big fan of The Discovery Channel, and Ghost in the Shell. | | Books | Romance Writer's Pink Pages: The Insider's Guide to Getting Your Romance Novel Published (Paperback) by Eve Paludan. I wrote 3 editions of this book for Prima Publishing.
Numerous nonfiction magazine articles including a series of feature articles for Writer's Digest Magazine.
