Evergaze Eternity's story started in October 2007, six years after Neurotomy broke up, one of the most active and famous Pisa underground bands which included Michele Priami on bass and Giovanni Ferranti on the keyboards. The end of Neurotomy was not painless and left some bad feelings between Michele and Giovanni, causing them to lose touch with each other. Giovanni also decided to return to Abruzzo to finish his studies, graduate and get a job. In 2005, Michele and Giovanni got back in touch by phone, cleared things up and became friends again. In October 2007 Michele asked Giovanni to play keyboards for a song he was writing to re-launch the band. Despite the distance, Giovanni accepted enthusiastically and without hesitation, partially because, thanks to Internet and broadband and the relatively simple possibility of recording music and demos, sharing material was no longer a problem. The genre Michele sought with was a synth goth metal inspired by The Birthday Massacre, a band very popular with all the members. For the vocals Michele found a young seventeen year old singer with great potential, Irene Calati, called Kyo by everyone, due to her passion for Dir En Grey and Japan in general. Giovanni, Michele and Irene were the founding members of the musical band that slowly transformed and evolved into the current Evergaze Eternity. An initial stable formation was obtained with the entry of Stefano Menicagli (former Divina member) on guitar and Andrea Niccolai on drums. It was with this formation that Evergaze Eternity recorded their first EP, "Incompatible Existences", and the cover of Red Stars for The Birthday Massacre at Marco Ribecai's Syncropain Product in Pisa, during two separate sessions started on 6 June 2008 and 14 December 2008, respectively. While recording the second session, various guitar parts were played by Marco Ribecai since Stefano had left. Nicola D'Alessio (currently in Icon, former Hellrage/Athena member) replaced Stefano on guitar and the band began practicing for live acts. The musical genre they propose is hard to classify, Evergaze Eternity combine different musical influences, including gothic/doom metal, dark/pop, electronic, alternative rock, psychedelic, avant-garde and experimentation, as an expression of their own anguish. .. .. ..ITA.. .. .. Gli Evergaze Eternity iniziano la loro storia nell'ottobre del 2007, sei anni dopo lo scioglimento dei Neurotomy, una delle band più attive e note della scena underground di Pisa, dove suonavano, tra gli altri, Michele Priami e Giovanni Ferranti, rispettivamente al basso ed alle tastiere. La fine dei Neurotomy non é indolore e porta con sé qualche contrasto tra Michele e Giovanni, portandoli a perdersi di vista. Giovanni, inoltre, decide di tornare in Abruzzo per terminare i propri studi, laurearsi ed iniziare a lavorare. Nel 2005 Michele e Giovanni hanno modo di risentirsi per telefono, chiarirsi e riallacciare il loro rapporto di amicizia e nell'ottobre del 2007 Michele propone a Giovanni di suonare le tastiere su una canzone che stava preparando con la band con cui cercava di ricominciare. Nonostante la distanza, Giovanni accetta senza riserve e con entusiasmo, anche perché, grazie ad Internet ed alla banda larga, alla possibilità relativamente semplice di registrare musica e prove, non era più un problema scambiarsi il materiale per comporre. Il genere che Michele vuole affrontare é una synth goth metal sulle orme dei The Birthday Massacre, band molto apprezzata da tutti i componenti. Alla voce, infatti, Michele ha trovato una giovane cantante diciassettenne dalle ottime potenzialità, Irene Calati, chiamata da tutti Kyo, data la sua passione per i Dir En Grey ed il Giappone in generale. Giovanni, Michele ed Irene rappresentano il primo nucleo di una entità musicale che via via si trasformerà ed evolverà fino a diventare ciò che sono oggi gli Evergaze Eternity. Una prima formazione stabile si ottiene con l'ingresso di Stefano Menicagli (ex Divina) alle chitarre e di Andrea Niccolai alla batteria ed è con questa formazione che gli Evergaze Eternity registrano il loro primo EP "Incompatible Existences" e la cover di Red Stars dei The Birthday Massacre presso i Syncropain Product di Marco Ribecai a Pisa, in due sessioni distinte iniziate rispettivamente il 6 giugno 2008 e il 14 dicembre 2008. Durante le registrazioni della seconda sessione, essendosi allontanato Stefano, diverse parti di chitarra vengono suonate dallo stesso Marco Ribecai. A sostituire Stefano alla chitarra arriva Nicola D'Alessio (attualmente negli Icon, ex Hellrage/Athena) e la band si prepara ad affrontare l'attività live. Il genere musicale proposto è difficilmente etichettabile, gli Evergaze Eternity fondono diverse influenze musicali, come il gothic/doom metal, il dark/pop, l'elettronica, il rock alternativo, la psichedelia, l'avantgarde e la sperimentazione, come espressione della propria condizione di disagio. .. ..
