Evergreen File is New Jersey singer/songwriter John Tornquist, Bill Lovgren on drums, Michael Zevitt on bass, and the newest member Rusty Grant (formally of The Jugband) on lead guitar.
Past and sometimes members include Sue McNiece, and guitar slinger Steven (The Penguin) Hendrix.

Music performed by Evergreen File is rock based, although various styles are pulled out and stretched over a wide framework of beats. The current sound of the band can be best described as fitting into the Alternative Country and Americana genres.
Evergreen File is based out of Point Pleasant, NJ. Although somewhat of new band, collectively members bring decades of experience to the situation. The band’s latest release is a six-song, self-titled, EP that was pressed on the band’s own record label, Treacle Records. The CD is currently available through CD Baby. It is also available for digital download through Dig Station, iTunes, Rhapsody, and various other sites.
