HeroesReviews: "The Chat Room" is a jewel of a story. It's a good read with a smooth, writerly style. The author adapts the suspense tale to a contemporary audience in an intriguing way. Were it not for references to current technology, it could as easily be an Agatha Christie thriller. "The Chat Room" is a worthwhile addition to the mystery/thriller/suspense genre. --- Dr. T. M. Tomaszek This timely novel is a well-written account of a relationship that too many of us are familiar with: a computer keyboard. We feel safe on the other side of the screen, like we can say or do anything. Like dismissing someone as if they were nothing was not a great sin of humanity. This author painfully addresses some really cancerous aspects of society. This will be an excellent book! --Amazon.com

About me:About the author: Troy Veenstra was born in 1974 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At the age of 14 he began taking care of his ill father and siblings after his parents had split up. During this time he amerced himself with such writers as King, Poe, and Socrates, thus eventually writing his own stories about the turmoil of life. In 2004 Troy began working on his own life once again and enrolled at Davenport University in hopes of obtaining his BS in law. At Davenport, Troy began to question the moral accuracy of the Law and began his quest to prove that all Laws can be broken legally by the inception of other laws or at least by there own interpretation. Currently Troy is still working on his education, while volunteering his free time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected Children which he has been an Advocate for since 2005.
