The beginnings of EMZ reach, huh. a couple of years. Why EverMetal Zine? It's a part of the fact, that the whole party had begun totally different than you could suspect now. That is - in the beginning there had been nothing and then a zine was founded - a various topic zine. It was called Ever ZIN - the name was to suggest the variety of topics. I'm not going to make a fuss, about how it looked then or what was in it - you wouldn't give a rat's ass about it anyway. The thing is, it's main part was the part about metal, which was appreciated by the readers via e-mail. Anyway - if the rest of the zine was as popular as nothing and the metal section was being developed, why not to change the zine's profile to a rock-metal magazine? The idea was interesting and ambitious, especially because, it had beed connected with an idea of creating a vortal, which was supposed to be more than just a homepage of the zine. So Lupus, a hard-ass journalist, along with me took the responsibility of creating the "new thing". As time flew, many people slided trough the vortal, many of them approved the idea, some didn't give a shit and some flinging their shit on us and the innitiative. The fact is, that the prep lasted a long time (I, myself, had run through around 10 engines, before I decided on the final one. Well, I am fussy and the basis should be done perfectly). The same thing was with the hosting. Many hours of hard work turned out to be a success - the incoming people had begun to cooperate, our oldschool crew was supplied with some metal fans with ideas and the desire to write reviews, articles and every other texts - an adrenaline shot. One of these people was Lysy, whom you know as the father director. I myself, have slipped into shadow, being only the tech admin and narrowing my job only to the tech support of the site. With the "apparition ov Lysy" the zine has gone trough some changes, it gained a new profile, a new design - only the beginning of changes...
