No, not entirely. The guys who make up EBP: Jim, Brian, Chris, and Andrew, are still making music together. It is just heading in a new direction with a new sound, and yes… most likely, a new name!
When?
We have made the decision to make these next two shows EBP's last. So, this Saturday at Ned Devine's in Herndon, VA, we will be having our last "local" show, and the following weekend, in southern MD, will be the official last EBP show at Hotel Charles. We hope to see as many of you as possible at these last shows, so please come out and hang out with us.
Why is EBP changing?
We feel as though the band has run it's course in this current form, and we want to come back revamped and BIGGER and BETTER than EVER! With the addition of Andrew on guitar we wanted to give ourselves the chance to let our music take us to new places, and we felt that if we continued on the path we were on, we would not be able to accomplish that. We are musicians first and foremost, and as much as EBP has meant to us over the years, we feel we have changed as musicians, and we want to give ourselves the opportunity to write and play as the band we have and will become. (We are also working with a guy in LA who's helping us take our music to the next level so this could get real exciting! ;)
Will I get to hear my favorite EBP songs once the band changes?
Once the new band surfaces we'll be playing all new music for you. Your fav old EBP songs will be forever on CD for your enjoyment. We think you will like the new music even better than the old so just trust us on this one.
We've found in our brief stint so far in the scene, bands come and go. We learned that through experience when seeing bands that helped get us to where we are today called it quits. Everyone But Pete has been together for over 4 years. We have done some amazing things in that time. Things that none of us will ever forget. We've made some amazing friends, both musicians and fans, and we hope that our new project will interest you as much as our last. We want to thank all of you for your continued support throughout the years.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS! We still are soooo sad we had to miss the party..I know I explained everything..but still feel awful about it. You know we'd never want to miss the most important birthdays ever! We love and miss you both
Yippee for playing at Ned's in Centreville. I will definately be there to see you guys. It seems like forever since I have seen you. Anyway hope all is well boys!
hey guys. i am going to try and make it out to herndon to see yous. i am looking forward to hearing the new music as much as i am sad to see the old leave us. you guys were a staple at TTs and i will never forget it.. as much as it suck to change it needs to happen more often than not to succeed. good luck to you on the new style. and i will see you guys this Saturday.. and to all of you reading this. you better be there too!
I'm so sad that I will be out of town this weekend! I will not be able to see you guys! The last show should have been in NOVA area! If I can make it to Md the following weekend I will try! OK, now that I'm done having my heart attack, (just got around to reading the blog & then your page) I do feel better! TEASES! Well, I can't wait to hear the new stuff. New name? What can top Everyone But Pete? Well, then again, get me drunk enuff & I can think of some great names--LOL :) So, we may try to come out to the shows...still gonna bug y'all to play Delay, of course ;) It's true about bands coming & going (don't we know...)
