This short film, is about a gay superficial king, who
rules over the land of Hollywood, and just happens to be a hair and make-up man to
the stars. He loses his kingdom by a spell cast by Bette Davis (Matthew Martin) but finds life's happiness from the guidance of his fairy godmothers, Patsy and Edina (Ron
Symansky and Jordan L'Moore of ABFAB fame.
It ends with a Happily Ever After, getting hitched on the steps of city hall, with the man of his dreams... This film first played at the SFGLBTFILM FESTIVAL in 2005

Everything Is Going To Be Just Fine is an astonishing tale of enlightenment in modern
day Hollywood. Based on the true story of Billy Clift, a dashing hair and make-up artist,
and the enduring friendship he has with Elizabeth Montgomery, the beloved star of the
classic television show “Bewitched.”
Everything Is Going To Be Just Fine is a universal story of human transformation,
with gay, Native American and Hindu influences and a touch of Hollywood glamour. Like
The Sixth Sense, it touches on our fascination with the paranormal. It is also infused
with the levity and irreverent tone of Dogma, and gives a wink and a nod to the continuing worldwide popularity of “Bewitched.”

Tale (2005 SF LGBT International Film Festival; distributed by Iron Rod Motion Pic-
tures). Clift recently completed the documentary, The Pure Eccentrics; San Francisco
(premiered as a benefit for the San Francisco Architectural Society, at the Balboa Thea-
tre on February 22nd 2007). He is now submitting his documentary, The Jose Sarria
Story: The Widow Norton, into various LGBT film festivals around the world.
