   About Eves Dilemma
"The Beating of the Start" marks a big transformation for Eve's Dilemma who, with the current line-up, has morphed the band's style from a guitar-driven rock sound to that of lush instrumentation, folk-inspired melodies, and emotional, lively vocals. Described as indie-folk-rock, "The Beating of the Start" delivers much more, garnering the band comparisons to The Decemberists, R.E.M., and Counting Crows, a wide range of musical influences that give the songs a genre-morphing tone that help keep things fresh and lively. Experimenting with instrumentation, texture, and time signatures, Eve's Dilemma bring layered vocals, odd instruments, and unusual melodies to their sound, the result of a collective effort that find the five members of Eve's Dilemma building and expanding upon the basic structure of Leach's songs, ensuring that Eve's Dilemma is truly a group effort. And "The Beating of the Start" is proof of that. A collection of five songs, the EP is sure to help establish Eve's Dilemma in the regional music scene, providing enough folk-like moments to satisfy those that love the softer, more intimate portions of Eve's Dilemma, while also delivering enough melody and indie-rock aesthetics to lure even the most jaded of music fan in. Do you guys ever do covers? There's a song by Hellogoodbye called "Baby, it's fact," it's on my profile right now. If you guys did an acoustic version with some cello....it'd be AWESOME! p.s. I tried emailing the pics but my computer was too slow! My bf said he'd help me with it later...sorry for the delay!!
