----------------------------------E N G L I S H--------------------------------------- Evgeni Zemtsov (born 1940) is a Russian-German composer originally from Rasskasowo (near Tambow). He graduated with distinction from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where is studied with D. Kabalewski and A. Pirumov. He was named Composer Emeritus of Russia and he became a member of the Union of Composers of the Soviet Union. He has worked as composition teacher at the Gnesin Institute in Moscow. Since 1995 Evgeni Zemtsov lives in Hamburg, Germany and he is a member of the Deutsche Componisten Verband and GEMA. Among his compositions, many of which have been published in the former Soviet Union and later in Germany (Gitarmonia) and Belgium (New Consonant Music), are two symphonies, an oratorio, an opera, two sonatas for violin and piano, string quartet, choral, vocal and chamber music, as well as numerous arrangements for instrumental and vocal ensembles. His works are constatnly performed and broadcasted in Germany, Holland, Russia, Bulgary, Italy and Mexico.------------------------------------------------------ D E U T S C H---------------------------------- Evgeni Zemtsov wurde im Jahre 1940 in Rasskazovo, Russland geboren. Er studierte Komposition bei den Prof. Dm. Kabalevsky und A. Pirumov am Moskauer Konservatorium das Er mit Auszeichnung im 1969 abschloss. Danach unterrichtete er Musiktheorie und Komposition an der Musikhochschulen der Städten Ulianovsk, Ufa und Moskau (Gnessin – Institut). Evgeni Zemtsov war Mitglied von Sowjetische Komponisten Verband. Seit 1995 wohnt Evgeni Zemtsov in Hamburg. Er ist Mitglied von Deutschen Komponisten Verband und GEMA. Er ist Autor von 2 Symphonien, Streichquartett,2 Sonaten für Violine, Chor-und vokale Musik, Kammermusik, Klavierstücke und mehrere Bearbeitungen. Unter anderem sind folgende Werken im Druck erschienen worden- Lyrikern von Fet Tenor Sopran Flöte (Sowjetischer Komponist) Fünf Japanische Gedichten Zwei Violine Cello Sopran (Kompositor Moskau) Melodie im alten Still für Viola und Klavier (Guitarmonia Köln) Drei Inventionen für Klavier (Guitarmonia Köln) Ohnemas (Kompositor Moskau) -
