It is not often that you hear of a young rock band that can make intelligent, socially conscious music and package it in a way that is neither boring, nor pretentious. For the past 3 years, Evident have been doing just that. The group is assembled of 4 Fall River (MA) young men whose strive for quality and relevancy has set them apart from other up-and-coming artists.
In August of 2007 the bands hard work paid off. They were honored to be invited by Grammy winning recording artist, Jim Peterik (Ides of March, Survivor) to record at his own “World Stage” studio. Produced by Peterik, fellow Ides member, Larry Millas, and Evident’s manager, Tom Soares, the recording features Evident’s most recent and best material. Impressed by Evident’s mature songwriting skills and professionalism, Peterik fully backs the project.
Next on the bands itinerary is to promote the new CD by obtaining as much exposure as possible. Rigorous performing, promoting and networking are among top priorities for the group in 2008. The new CD (Coat of Arms) will be marketed to radio stations and venues for airplay and performance opportunities. The band hopes that 2008 will be their breakout year.
Evident is a testament that when you combine four young men with amazing talent, profound creativity, and powerful music, people take notice.
