I cook a bit, roast my own coffee, brew my own beer, refinish old wood furniture, play sax, and play around on guitar, tin whistle, mandolin, etc. I am politically conservative/libertarian, at least where American politics are concerned. ( I am also a supporter of Irish republicanism, Scottish & Welsh nationalism, etc. ) I am generally a stubborn, opinionated, tired/lazy old bastard. I have been called a " music snob " because basically if I don't like it, it's crap. If you have seen Hi Fidelity, the scene where the guy is thrown out of the shop essentially for having bad taste, that would be me throwing him out if it were my record shop. I used to be a Dropkick Murphys street team leader for the Knoxville area, which is how my website, http://www.knoxdkm.com, came about. If you dig deep enough there you'll even find pics of me with DKM members, and with my ex-wife, and some Cutthroat Shamrock pics from shortly after I met them at the Fox & Parrot in Gatlinburg and heard them for the first time. I also have a children's book perpetually in progress, or shelved for the moment. It involves pirates. That's all I am willing to give away, in case some other children's author is reading this and might steal my idea.

Seriously!?! Ya'll are that close? My mom said that I would be near you guys. Ya know last month when we were up there I was telling Grandma that I had been talking with you & your sister on the computer and she thought that was great. She said that she always loved you going over ther to visit with her and you would talk and talk and talk. She said you mom would come over and drag you away. LOL! I told her that I thought it was really neat that you spent so much time with her and she agreed. She loves all of you so much!

Hey at least you got to stay home, I had to go to work, Petsmart was afraid they might miss making a buck so I sat around till 9:00pm doing nothing. For what they paid in lights and staff sitting around I am sure they lost money.
