About me:
Evil Masquerade wurde im Sommer 2003 in Kopenhagen von Gitarrist Henrik Flyman (Wuthering Heights, Moahni Moahna, ZooL) gegründet.
Er tat sich mit Dennis Buhl, Kasper Gram und einem lokalen Sänger zur Aufnahme des Debüt-Albums zusammen. Es wurde Anfang 2004 unter dem Namen „Welcome to the Show“ veröffentlicht. Das Album erhielt fast sofort weltweite Anerkennung und erreichte in den japanischen Charts Platz 8.
Nur ein Jahr später folgte das 2. Album „Theatrical Madness“. Auch damit gewann die Band viele neue Fans auf der ganzen Welt.
Nach einigen Veränderungen in der Besetzung waren sie wieder zurück im Studio und bereit für die Aufnahme ihres 3. Albums „Third Act“ - und heute hat die Band eine ziemlich starke Fanbasis.
Die aktuelle Besetzung besteht aus:

Apollo Papathanasio (Gesang, bekanntlich auch Sänger der Band Firewind)
Dennis Buhl (Drums)
Thor Jeppesen (Bass)
Als Gastmusiker (Keyboard) fungieren David Rosenthal (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) und Richard Andersson (Time Requiem, Space Odyssey).
