Charlotte Gainsbourg, the celebrated French actress and singer, has recently released remixes by Metronomy and Black Ghosts of ‘5:55’ – the title track to her acclaimed album, plus a digital bundle including the original single version.
The song’s music was written by the French duo Air, with lyrics by Jarvis Cocker. The track was produced by esteemed English producer Nigel Godrich while Canadian composer David Campbell – the father of Beck - was responsible for the string arrangements.
