Ambrosio's handle originates from the title character of _The Monk_, a classic Gothic novel by M. G. Lewis about an evil Monk with a innocent appearance and pristine reputation. In his public life, Ambrosio is a single white male in his early fourties in San Antonio, TX. He's been in the BDSM scene since approximately 1994 and active since about 1995. He's known as sensual top with dominant tendencies but he also practices more heavy play (with the right play partners.) He founded SAS/M in 1996 and San Antonio Dominant's Dinner in 2001.
