About me:

I was looking at what others were writing about themselves. It always seems to be warm and fuzzy...a philosophical enigma...the smell after a warm rain...an ontological question...oh wait, I said that. See below. The thing to stress, regardless of verbage, is that I am a work in progress, under construction, hopelessly flawed, and growing everyday. The other thing is that I try to treat others the way I want to be treated. I balk sometimes when I think about the way I have reacted to situations. If I were the receptor of these reactions, how would I feel? I guess I want to express appreciation for my friends' patience, acceptance, and forgiveness. I am nothing without my friends and loved ones. I am so sorry if I have ever hurt you. The thing I am learning is that I am not perfect and so so human. What feeble beings we are. We can be so beautiful and strangely violent at the same time.
This is what I had before, which is true to some extent:
Who am I? An ontological question, to which I'll never really know the answer, but I'm totally and completely me. I've tried to convert, but I scared the children. As the case may be, maybe I'm a mosaic of culture. Maybe I'm a collection of experiences, or maybe I'm who you say I am. Maybe what you think of me is none of my business. Maybe I have always been, and will continue being for eternity. I am making footprints in the sand.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being! As I heard from a woman's voicemail message, "I wish you heaven!"
