EVOLUCION is a Chilean Art Rock band born in 1982 and lead by PEDRO MUNOZ RECABARREN. Its style is a fusion between Progresive Rock, Jazz Rock and Simphonic Rock, becoming pioneers in Chile. EVOLUCION made concerts starting February 1983 until March 1987 in pubs, universities, Rock festivals, and a historical concert December 10 1985 at the "Isidora Zegers" stage of the Musical Conservatory at the University of Chile, being the first Progresive Rock band to play on that stage. The band dissolves March 1987. In 2001 FERNANDO GONZALEZ BRAVO returns to Chile, after 8 years in Germany, fortifying his musical formation and together with PEDRO MUNOZ, they recrate EVOLUCION, this time for ever. All the material from the eighties was remastered in one CD called "La Era de Piscis" wish come on sale in 2005 (Mylodon Records). Between 2004 and 2006 was recorded a new CD called "UMBRALES" published in February 2006 by Mylodon Records. In March 2006 a promotional tour of "UMBRALES" was held in MEXICO including a presentation at the respected "BAJA PROG ART ROCK FESTIVAL". In 2007 EVOLUCION add two successful presentations at the "RIO ART ROCK FEST" and "MACAE PROG 2007" in BRASIL. Formados oficialmente en agosto de 1982 por iniciativa de su tecladista y director, Pedro Muñoz, la banda (derivación de grupo de los 70’s llamado Espectros) se situó rápidamente como uno de los más altos referentes del jazz rock y fusión progresiva a comienzos de los años 80’s.
La historia de EVOLUCION está divida en diversas etapas, todas ellas empapadas de sus elementos distintivos: jazz, rock y sinfónico progresivo, contando en cada una de ellas con el aporte de notables y reconocidos músicos chilenos como Ciro Vega, Fernando Gonzalez Bravo y John Clark en guitarra, Fernando Islas y Jorge Herrera en bajo, Mauricio Claveria, Jorge Cruz y Juan Ricardo Weiler en batería. EVOLUCION se disolvió en 1987, y reapareció el 2001 trás la llegada de Fernando González Bravo de Alemania, quien junto a Muñoz decidieron recrear este clásico del Art Rock. Todo el material ochentero se remasterizó en un CD llamado "La Era de Piscis" editado el 2005 por Mylodon Records y entre 2004 y 2006 se grabó un nuevo CD: "Umbrales", publicado en Febrero 2006 por Mylodon. En Marzo 2006 se realizó la gira promocional de "Umbrales" con 5 conciertos en MEXICO incluyendo una gran presentación en el respetado BAJA PROG FESTIVAL. El 2007 EVOLUCION agregó a su historial internacional 2 ovacionados conciertos en el "RIO ART ROCK FEST" y el "MACAË PROG 2007". ( VER MIS FOTOS).
Hemos terminado y subido una canción más, se llama Reflejos y marca una etapa importantísima en mi vida y a la vez en Krisdäl. La letra es súper potente y con mucho sentimiento, al igual que la interpretación.
