You may be wondering what's all this about? Well, first let me tell you a little bit about me. After decades of writing for some of the top fashion publications in the country, including Essence and Heart & Soul magazines, I decided to launch my own company (Evoluer Image Consultants), to address the image needs of today's females, a group diverse in culture and unique in personality.
Under my creative direction, Evoluer strives to be the premiere accelerator for females who want to make the most of her personal or professional image and style. The agency has a cadre of nationally recognized style experts, whose beauty and fashion, make-up, and hair styling credits include Beyonce, NBC's America's Got Talent winner Bianca Ryan, Mary J. Blige, Tyra Banks and Jill Scott, The Swan, American Idol and Oprah, and a host of national magazines and commercial advertisements. Soon after, I decided to establish an exciting, fresh program taught by top image, fashion and youth development professionals, to provide a reality-base learning experience to teen girls to inspire a positive self-image, ambition and true personal development.
The workshop was an instant "hit" with the girls – each workshop was filled to capacity. The program constantly garners a waiting list of enthusiastic parents, who want their daughter to attend our workshop. And the support from the community and growth we've seen in the girls, whether they were from the roughest inner-city neighborhoods or the pooshest suburbs, has been nothing short of amazing! I felt girls everywhere should be afforded opportunities that can help them reach their full potential and do great things. That’s why I created this page.
