My purpose on the Internet has been to promote INDEPENDENT rock/metal artists from my country and from any part of the world. ROCK IS REBELLION! This is what we stand for. This is our daily struggle as we refuse to be drones of this era of musical stupidity and conformity! We no longer tolerate worthless media controlled by greedy corporations. Rock and music are our way of life; therefore, we are offended when these corporations invest their dollars in musical projects that are designed to fill their bank accounts and leave listener's minds empty. This is the cause for our revolution.

We are musical reformers who represent and fight this war for the people that protest against the oppressing main stream media. We fight in order to change this era of musical conformity that keeps our brothers (listeners and musicians) in musical anonymousness. The oppressor: today's wave of never ending musical sameness has sought out to replace musical freedom with a soundtrack that sounds familiar everywhere around the globe. He has found the formula for keeping the masses numb. His agents are those that serve the oppressor's demands in propagating the oppressor's soundtrack for numbness. This is where our Guerrilla Warfare is justified. The oppressor in our society has outcast musical freedom and has driven it into seclusion. For He seeks the complete destruction of this rebellious form of expression. In doing this he has made good music inaccessible to the ears of the people. Our purpose in this guerrilla war is not to confront head on the oppressor and his agents, for he is well financed and supported by millions of programmed musical zombies. We will use guerrilla tactics to fight the oppressor. We will lie in ambush with musical talent that will cripple him; we will hit and run with music so loud and powerful that it will stun him; we will plant booby-traps made of lyrical fury that will crush the morale of his agents; we will promote and play music so inspiring and passionate that it will free the minds of programmed zombies all over the world, and we will do this repeatedly without giving him rest.

Who is a Fighter for Musical Liberation?

- People like you and me that support and believe in our local bands and artists.
- Fans and musicians that listen and play music for themselves and not to please anyone else, or main stream standards.
- People that enjoy rock for what it really is and not because of a musical trend, or even worst a fashion trend.
- Artists that create with freedom what they feel.
- Listeners who listen beyond chords and lyrics.
- The fan that is criticized for listening to unsigned bands.
- Our parents and grandparents that let us use their garages, bedrooms, kitchens, basements for band rehearsals.
- The bar owners that are willing to give any band a shot, and the fan that supports his local bands by going to the concerts and buying the musicians a beer.
- The listener that has an indie band on his or her player.

Above all, anyone who stands in defiance against musical oppression.

What is Evolution Rock?

Evolution Rock is an Independent Metal Radio Show transmited via podcast and soon via our on streaming site. We focus on ROCK/METAL independent artists from around the globe. We enjoy the old stuff too! We're always looking out for new sounds! We play podcast safe mp3s and those hosted by artists on Myspace and their respecting record labels.

If you're a NEW BAND or OLD BAND add us as your friends; we'll feature special shows on Myspace bands and the Underground. We believe that the underground scence holds some of the best talent out there.

We have presentadores that have shows in English and Spanish, so you can listen to our podcasts in any of those languages.
