EVOLVE is New Jersey's original and premiere annual Music and Yoga festival that unites green businesses, social and environmental groups, visionary thinkers and artists, Yogis and Yoginis and thousands of community members in a lively exchange of energy, ideas, commerce and movement-building fun!
The focus of the experience is bringing people together to help create a more sustainable and peaceful future. As people are beginning to re-discover universal social and spiritual values, this festival exists as a gathering place for people who are choosing to cultivate lifestyles of peacefulness, simplicity, sustainability and community-centeredness. As part of the newly emerging "culture of life", EVOLVE strives to provide a unifying experience for people from all walks of life who feel the desire to express their energy in mutually enhancing ways.
EVOLVE is helping to create culture through workshops, yoga classes, guest speakers, art installations, movie screenings, raw food and vegan cuisine, and on-site craftspeople and vendors that will help translate this event from mere music fest to a launchpad for Creative Visionary Culture.
As a family-friendly event, we wish to invite families and friends from all walks of life to participate in the EVOLVE Festival as we all come together to learn, to communicate, to dance and to create. EVOLVE celebrates the creative potential that resides in every human heart and recognizes it's tremendous power to invent, initiate and to sustain enduring and positive change. You ARE important, you DO make a difference, your ideas DO actually matter and you CAN change our world! The EVOLVE Music and Yoga Festival features dynamic speakers, International Yoga Instructors, workshops, hands-on demonstrations, vendors, live music and entertainment, children's activities, food and also, networking opportunities for people looking to work together for change at the local, national and global levels.
EVOLVE Music and Yoga Festival is a real-time experiment in community emergence/convergence/transcendence with a view to implementing local solutions to help solve global problems. MISSION:
The EVOLVE Music and Arts Festival is a celebration of the divinely creative human spirit. EVOLVE is also a point of convergence for group transcendence and issues a challenge: we are able to educate ourselves and encourage one another toward peaceful and sustainable global culture. We can accomplish this through inspired art, spiritual discipline, new technologies, through deep inter-personal communication and through locally-based action initiatives. The EVOLVE Festival celebrates our ability to initiate positive and enduring change. This is accomplished through our uniquely human capacity for creative realization. EVOLVE stands in cooperative agreement with the efforts of artists, inventors, visionaries, activists, organizations and all people who accept full responsibility for shifting the present global situation and who wish to build a sustainable and peaceful world. EVOLVE supports the preservation and protection of Life as a new global ethic. Were do I begin? I don’t know how it would be possible for me to convey how incredible the feeling of freedom I have when @ Telemagica each year. Imagine, if you will, a less-rigid-in-structure, all-ages-friendly DIY legoland/ psychedelic summer camp/ dreamscape made reality - an open-ended anything-is-possible wonderland…This is Sacred Land/Dream Land - a place in which your imagination walks in the external world….Telemagica began in 2005, we made first contact with this incredible endeavour in 2007, by chance - it was one of the greatest experiences in my life, but it wasn’t until the following year that I really got acquainted with what Kirk and Noor’s true vision for this event was meant to be…to feel at one with the earth and all things of nature and space - to bring about another evolutionary leap forward - the views are breath-taking and the land itself speaks to you on the deepest possible levels, an amazing variety of extremely creative and increasingly diverse music, meditation, dance, art, ritual, feeling, family - there is always plenty of delicious healthy and affordable food for all, friendly people, beautiful indigenous plants and rock formations, an ecstatic view of Mexican frontier - anything is possible and permitted as long as it is in accord with
