As a guitarist, my dream has always been to create a band via which I can channel my inspiration. My musical and lyrical ideas are intertwined through the themes of life’s mysteries. I hope to promote consciousness by exploring certain truths of existence and infusing notes of positivity and hope (if hope is possible!).
I have been extremely blessed to have my friends and fellow collaborators Cédric and Benny, whose talents are extraordinary. They share my vision and walk the same artistic path; together we nourish the creative seed and cultivate the borne fruit that is the world of Evolve.
En tant que guitariste, mon rêve a toujours été de créer un groupe avec lequel je puisse exprimer pleinement ma créativité. Mon univers musical et lyrique a toujours été fortement influencé par les thèmes des mystères de la vie. A travers la musique, j'espère pouvoir stimuler la réflexion en explorant certaines vérités de l'existence et apporter des notes positives et d'espoir quand l'espoir est possible.
J'ai été extrêmement chanceux d'avoir à mes côtés mes amis Cédric et Benny, qui sont de talentueux musiciens. Ils partagent ma vision et nous progressons sur un même chemin artistique. Ensemble, nous stimulons notre créativité et cultivons les graines qui permettent de faire éclore les fruits du monde d'Evolve.

For me, this album marks the beginning of a new career, the beginning of a family. This music has, for me, the taste of a renaissance.
Words are not strong enough to describe the many feelings I have concerning this experience. It reflects both my past and present life. Within Evolve, I have learned to be myself and sing with my soul.

Beaucoup de sentiments y sont mêlés il n'y a pas de mots assez forts pour décrire cette expérience, celà reflète tant mon vécu que ce que j'y vis. Au sein d'Evolve j'ai appris à être moi-même et à chanter avec mon âme.

As a young drummer I'm living (on) my passion through concerts and records with various formations. I also trie to transmit to the younger, teaching the drums in several music schools.
Jeune batteur, je vis pleinement (de) ma passion à travers concerts et disques avec diverses formations. Je tente également de la transmettre aux plus jeunes, en enseignant la Batterie au sein de plusieurs Écoles de Musique.
Early in the second millennia, in the region of Montreux in Switzerland, Evolve was born under the sign on Progressive Metal. Their music is inspired by a multitude of groups such as Dream Theater or Rush.
Patrick, Cedric and Benny came together, exchanging their visions of life and uniting their creativity to form the core of Evolve. Later on Carina and Sébastien joined the others on their artistic path, bringing with them their skills and passion, to complete this musical family.

Evolve a vu le jour à Montreux en Suisse dans les années 2000 sous le signe du Métal progressif, inspiré par une multitude de groupes tels que Dream Theater ou Rush.
Patrick, Cédric et Benny sont à la base du projet, échangeant leurs visions de vie et unissant leur créativité, ils construisent le noyau d'Evolve. Plus tard Carina et Sébastien rejoignent leur chemin artistique, amenant leur technique et passion venant ainsi compléter cette famille musicale.

In June 2009, Evolve released its first CD. Composed of 4 titles, “The Beginning” takes the listener on an almost 30 minute journey of musical and philosophical exploration.
While the song “Neverending Journey” considers the idea of reincarnation, “The Other Side” approaches the subject of our free will. “Father”, a song with a gentler atmosphere, pays tribute to those that are lost or departed. The final track, “I Want You”, leaves the listener to reflect upon the subject of power and the illusions it can create. Thereby ends Evolve’s first opus.
This unique combination of melodic yet rugged songs, fuser with Carina’s powerful and compelling voice, make this disk an important turning point in the evolution of the group. At last, the public can experience the sound of Evolve.

L'unique combinaison de la puissante voix de Carina, l'univers mélodique et la réalisation soignée font de ce disque un point important de l'évolution du groupe. Faire découvrir au public le son d'Evolve.
Alors que la chanson "Neverending Journey" évoque la réincarnation, "The other side" aborde le sujet de ses propres choix. "Father", une chanson à l'atmosphère particulière emporte l'auditeur sur un hommage aux personnes disparues. Le morceau "I want you" sur le thème du pouvoir termine ce premier opus.
Evolve’s compositions take center stage at their first live concert in Nimes (France) in November 2008. Following that, in April 2009, they rocked the house as guest band at the venue “Rocking Chair in Vevey (Switzerland) and headlined at the Ouchy Rock Festival (Switzerland) in June of the same year.
Then a highly awaited performance at a festival for which any Metal band would sell their granny’s teeth – Metalcamp! With about 20’000 participants, Metalcamp (Slovenia) is one of the most popular European venues for metal music. The “Dark Dog Stage” provided an excellent platform for Evolve to not only conquer their audience but to perform next to more well-renowned groups of international fame. Summer 2009 continued with the Rock Oz’Arènes; a festival that attracts 28’000 spectators in 4 days.
The year 2010 begins with a live headlining at the Ned (Switzerland), followed by the Distortion Festival at Amalgame Club (Switzerland) also headline, then in May they perform at the Long'I'Rock in Longirod (Switzerland), playing well among renowned groups like: Scorpions, Down, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Trust and many others. The public is present and conquered.
Each performance has helped to rapidly increase Evolve’s fan-base and feedback has been extremely positive by both fans and musical confreres.
Evolve sur scène. Une première expérience live à Nîmes en novembre 2008 permet au groupe de faire découvrir ses compositions au public. En avril 2009, ils assurent un show en première partie au Rocking Chair de Vevey et poursuivent les lives en tête d'affiche à l'occasion du Ouchy Rock Festival en juin.
Expérience espèrée pour tout le groupe: Metalcamp en Slovénie. Un des plus grands festivals de Métal d'Europe avec plus de 20'000 festivaliers. Evolve y assure un show puissant sur la Dark Dog Stage et conquit son public, permettant aussi de se confronter à des grands groupes de renomée internationale. Performance positive et magnifique. L'été 2009 continue avec le festival Rock Oz'Arènes (28'000 festivaliers en 4 jours).
