Since buying a set of decks 7 years ago, Ewan has been obsessed with electronic music and has never looked back.
Since the age of 18 he played most of the venues Edinburgh has to offer, having appeared at leading club nights such as Stereotype, Musika, Unlock The House, Wired (Dunfermline) and Not So Dirty, which he co-ran for 3 years. Ewan has also made appearances at the “Black Party” @ Eden, Ibiza as well as Hush & The Orange Corner over the last four Summers. Last year he warmed up the Musika Arena @ Scottish dance music festival Fantasylands in April 2008.
Ewan have recently been made resident at long running and very successful club night ‘Stereotype’ in Edinburgh, and it looks like 2009 is going to be another stellar year for them after having Layo & Bushwacka playing at their 6th Birthday party in January 2009 plus many more upfront bookings in the coming year. Past guests include Booka Shade, Dubfire, Layo & Bushwacka, Yousef, Timo Maas, Smokin Jo, Ben Watt, Milton Jackson, Spencer Parker and Serge Santiago to name but a few.
Ewan have been producing music for the last three years after doing a course in Music Production, and hopes to release some tracks in 2009. Watch this space…….
This year is looking good already with many new tracks in the pipeline as well as new night “Off:beat” which Ewan has helped set up with fellow DJ/promoters Jamie McKenzie & Chris Graham which featured Crosstown Rebel & Circo Loco resident JAMIE JONES for their opening party.
