Thank you to those members that came out this past Saturday to help with the car wash! Despite the intense heat, we all survived and raised $170! If you own a small business and are interested in a being a sponsor for a future car wash or fundraising event, please email us at ewb.utsa@gmail.com. Thanks again everyone!

EWB is looking for someone to help us design our new T-shirts for the fall semester. Guidelines for the design are as follows: Must include the EWB-USA logo in it's original format and color scheme, but incorporate in some manner UTSA's logo or mascot. The best design will get a free T-shirt, membership dues paid for fall, and most importantly the fame and recognition of being the winner!

Fundraising is in full swing. Our goal is to raise $3000-4000 by the end of the summer to send three to four members on an assesment trip to San Lorenzo, Bolivia. We can do it, but we need your help. If you have a fundraising idea, please email it to ewb.utsa@gmail.com with "fundraising" in the subject line.

About me:

Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit humanitarian organization, whose focus is to help developing communities by designing practical, and economically feasible solutions to the everyday problems they face. Whether it be the need for a bridge, or irrigation system, or even just a way to get safe drinking water, EWB is there to help! Our organization is open to all majors - any student who is dedicated to changing the lives of others in a positive way can be an EWB member. Our dues are $15 a semester, but will allow that student to be actively involved in all EWB projects and travel on assesment and implementation trips. Currently we are seeking pre-med or nursing students, not in their senior year, who are interested in being our health point person on all project trips. ..
