The Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF) was founded in 1996 by Jesse Hernandez and Bill Anderson and is now soley owned by Jesse Hernandez. They are the longest running wrestling promotion in Southern California. They are also an affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The EWF runs shows in Covina at the Knights of Columbus Hall twice a month and also runs shows in San Bernardino in various locations. The EWF recognizes four championships. The current champions are Brandon Gatson (EWF Heavyweight Champion), Ryan Taylor (EWF American Champion), "Top Shelf" Jeremy Jaeger (EWF Cruiserweight Champion) and The Young Bucks (EWF Tag Team Champions). Ryan Taylor is also the current NWA Heritage Champion.

Kayfabe College & R1 present "Student Showcase" on Saturday, April 18th at 6:00p.m. @ the R1 Center located at 113 Sierra Street in El Segundo
Admission is FREE.
Students from Kayfabe College, as well as other wrestling schools, will be performing in the ring - many for the first time. Former students of the Ballards, along with current socal standouts are also scheduled to appear.
Already confirmed are: The Cutler Brothers, CK Jackson, Johnny Goodtime, Johnny Paradise, Ellen Degenerate, Peter Goodman, Ricky Mandel and Hector Canales. More confirmations are coming in daily! With a special appearance by Gladiator "Inferno" as well as surprise guests.
Kayfabe College is instructed by The Ballard Brothers, who have been very instrumental in developing many well-known professional wrestling careers, and are responsible for alot of the current top Socal talent as well. They are assisted by former student Van Ayasit, who brings his "strong style" of training and experience from continuing his training in Japan to kayfabe College.
