Solo guitarist Ed Wright has performed with symphony orchestras, opened for folk legend Richie Havens, and performed with jazz great Dave Brubeck. He plays with the rock groups MOJO! and Broken Arrow as well as the Irish ensemble Themselves. But it is in his solo performances that all of these influences converge to create a unique and original style that has captivated audiences through his many CDs and perconal appearances. A typical set list ranges from the lyrical Americana of George Winston or Ralph Towner to the folk inspired music of Brazil, Venezuela and Argentia to the beautiful Spanish Romanticism of Granados and Albeniz. You can also expect to hear some blues and the original compositions that earned Ed awards as second place winner and finalist at successive American Fingerstyle Guitar Festivals.
