I'm a lucky dog who for the last few years has made my living making music. Its a trickle down sort of existence. Its not so much that i make vast piles of money and that there's any left at the end of the month to trickle down to others in the "republican trickle down economics model" sense....more so that it trickles in from a bunch of different places and no two months are the same. I've got three records of my own out that i tour to support. I play a lot of colleges in the Northwest and other festivals, wineries and clubs. I also tour as a side man for other artsits playing guitar, piano, singing- really whatever they need me to do. In the past few years i've had the privilege to tour with a wide variety of folks including Julio Iglesias Jr. (all in spanish...and they crowned me the honorary mexican in the group which coming from woodland california i took as a compliment...) Glen Phillips, Cindy Morgan and other various local bands and singersongwriters. I love doing that as much as i love playing my own songs and singing. Its a nice break to hide in the back and get to just play. I also built a small studio in Seattle and i engineer sessions and produce albums for folks who are looking to make an album when i'm not on the road. i bought a house in seattle. My younger brothers live in Seattle now too. in the fall you can find us on the river fishing for salmon.... I spend a good bit of time in Nashville these days writing and recording and i really love the town. there are so many amazing musicians and writers there it is a constantly humbling experience to be there and also a situation that challenges me to no end.
