About me: Every week 800-1200 people are called to Jury Duty. These potential jurors fill the approximately 4000 square foot space in Denver’s City and County Building which is located at: 1437 Bannock Street, Room 431 on the 4th Floor and they wait to for their number to be called.
The C&C Exhibition Series supports emerging and established artists through monthly exhibitions. We believe the energy created between and by artists is invaluable.
You don’t need a jury duty summons to view the work! We would love for you to stop by Monday through Friday between 12 and 6 pm.

b>Magdalene, Woman of Light.. is a rock-opera (spoken-word theatre meets musical) that weaves the story of the life of Mary Magdalene, from her birth in Egypt and early training as a high priestess, to the search for her beloved, Jesus Christ. It continues with his elevation of her as the first of his Apostles, the one he entrusts with carrying on his legacy, and the challenge this causes between Magdalene and the Apostle Peter.
Fall Donation Extravaganza! October 4th, 3-8pm at the Free Boutique (9635 W. Colfax in the Antique Mall)
....................
The Free Boutique has been dutifully curating our fall fashion and we are ready for the unveiling! Come to our fall premiere and browse the bijoux and bricolage of this season's theme: Deserted Palace.
But wait! This is a donation extravaganza, too! So, take a minute and rifle through your haute couture and haul the vestiges over to us. You will be richly rewarded for your donation with tea, pastries, wine, and the sweet sounds of DJ Magic Pony.
And there's more! To make the affair all the more worth your precious time, we're tacking on an art swap. To partake in the swap, bring art supplies or art pieces you wish to trade out, and we'll take care of the rest. Swap those watercolors you never took a shine to for someone else's languishing india inks.
Never even heard of the Free Boutique? You are in for a treat! We are a fashion forward, donation based, used and vintage clothing store. What does that mean for you? It means you can choose to donate in exchange for the garments you take home, or you can waltz out the door without parting with a cent . . . free, get it?
Please come dance your pants off and support the wonderful Free Boutique, Denver's only fashion-forward free store! This is the last dance party before Denver gets invaded by the DNC, let's make it count! We have a perfect lineup of amahzing dj's for your dancing enjoyment as well as a sunset over the ocean photo booth. There will be a dance off as well, winner receives a trophy, lets just hope there isn't an interpretive dance fight. Get $2 off if you dress to the theme! Think Miami Vice, florals (no no no hawaiian shirts), sunglasses, adult contemporary, ultra slick or your dapper dan designer jumpsuit.

Please join BITCH publisher Debbie Rasmussen for a participatory discussion about how - and whether - feminism can become a transformative movement for social change.
* How can we drive attention to the power, privilege and marginalization that continue to play out in feminist communities and how can those of us with power and priviledge become effective, genunine allies to those without it?
* How can we collectively create an independent feminist media - justice movement that doesn't rely on white supremacy, class privelege and economic exploitation?
* Can the idea of "feminism" shift to foreground an uncompromising, transformative commitment to systemic social change or is it time to evolve to new language?
