Joe leaves the band shortly after. February 2003: Recorded "Existence to Null" "Final Moments of Existence" "Painted Death Ep" at SIStudios. September 2003: Recorded "Death Dances Beyond Existence" "Final Moments of Existence" at SIStudios Shawn Leaves shortly after recording. 2004-2006:Tyrant pens the entire "A Doctrine into Hate" Looks for replacement for Shawn. Summer 2006: Ex Plays one show with Devil's Advocate on guitar and Butch on bass. November 2006:Butch agrees to do session work for Ex. Preproduction for "A Doctrine into Hate" begins. John rejoins Ex for the recording. April 2007: Recording "A Doctrine into Hate" at SIStudios. Takes six weeks off. Summer 2007 Preproduction: of "Inversion of Evolution" Butch joins as full time member of Ex. September 2007: "A Doctrine into Hate" is released. October 2007: Recording "Inversion of Evolution" at SIStudios. Take six more weeks off. December 2007: Preproduction of "Progression of Primates". February 2008: "Inversion of Evolution" is released. John leaves Ex. April 2008: Ex is the last band to record at SIStudios in Scranton. "Progression to Primates" is recorded. September 2008:"Progression to Primates" will be released. March/April 2009: "Progression of Primates" official release date and in the studio to record "An Inception into Frailty." October 2008: 8 songs completed for "An Inception into Frailty", Butch and Tyrant still in pre production. New songs combine some prog and atmosphere elements. Don't worry still heavy as shit, we didn't make a soft album. "Progression to Primates" release is pushed by indefinitely for now, but will be released sometime in the future. November 2008:"Progression to Primates" will be released online exclusively thru Snocap. We are going to release the album first quarter of 2009 due to budget. "An Inception into Frailty" will be recorded in April 2009 at SIStudios. The new album sounds brutal yet progressive and fast.
