Exit 41 has been compared to a cross between Foster and Lloyd, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Dwight Yoakam. This is rockin' country music
with a bluesy twang that conjures up images of Vern Gosdin singing with The Blasters.
From the smoke-filled bar rooms of the Midwest comes a band of friends with calloused hands and an honest work ethic that they bring to every one of their high energy shows. Smooth harmonies and catchy melodies are driven by the tube amp twang of a Fender Telecaster and strait-up honky-tonk piano that bites you like a shot of good bourbon. This is rockin country music that would make even your grandma shake her hips and feel young again.
Songwriting and singing duo Jeff Upton and Dave Brooks have a Foster and Lloyd quality about them with a Kentucky Headhunters edge. Brooks fiery guitar playing reminds the listener that country and rock do make a very tasty serving for those that like a little hot sauce thrown on their traditional country breakfast. Uptons vocal delivery is as smooth as gravy on your biscuit. The solid backbeat of drummer Cory Fancher and bass player Tom Upton are the meat and fried taters of the band. When you add a dash of deadly keys from Peter Spero what emerges from this musical omelet is a band with enough promise to be successful without falling into the formulaic attempts of todays new country stars. First and foremost, this band has the substance that real staying power is built on... songs. The party begins and ends with great songs, and both songwriters bring to the band their carefully crafted versions of life as they have experienced it.
This bands tenacious drive has always guided them as they have held strongly to their musical journey through divorces, health issues, foreclosures, children, lightning strikes, and generally any unlucky event you could dream up. And Lord knows that you can recover from almost anything, but you can never recover from having children!
The band has remained best friends for over ten years now. They look forward to meeting you at a show soon and making new friendships... friendships that will outlast most marriages. Feel free to bring your spouse, your ex-spouse, or your new future ex-spouse to any of their shows. Put on your dancing shoes and well see you there!

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks

Exit 41 - Join us in congratulating record producer Kim Copeland for her work on the Rachel Williams album, Lonely At The Bottom. Check this great review by R.K. Oermann with Music Row Magazine on Rachel's current single, The Only Thing Harder Than Leaving.
"She has the goods. This creeps up on you with cat’s paws. The languid pace, echoing instruments, spacious production and her hushed, aching delivery are all immensely seductive. The lyric of leaving home is full of terrific details. And her falsetto leaps in the bridge are like little daggers to the heart. A mini masterpiece. This, by the way, is the third single in a row that I have raved about from this performer. "
