why "exitcity??" this is a name I played with ever since early days when I was at music school ... it just came into my awareness and stuck .. it said it all! My life has been a wierd battle between being an art saturated soul and also trying to get out into nature and protect it. Ive been a full on activist for the environment and taken my music there many times .. exiting the city ... . I recently let all that go as collaborators from that eara are long gone ... My images have now collapsed back into airy girly images of other realms, space and birds which is really what Im all about ... I'm just finally giving into it Saving the environment has its limits .. and Ive finally realised that MUSIC SAVES. I love the city space .. but I want my music to inspire people to get out of it .. at least in their minds ..find other realms .. perhaps other places where money and possessions and all the rest of the 'blah' doesnt exist .. I hope it wil inspire them to find somewhere beautiful.... maybe I will see you there! xx

Why exitcity?

why "exitcity??" this is a name I played with ever since music school ... it just kind of popped into my awareness and stuck .. it means many things to me .. My first images for exitcity were all about cars driving out of the city .. extiing it .. it reminded me of Kraftwerks images from the 70s ... The mad city space .. I want my music to inspire people to get out of it .. at least in their minds ..find other realms .. perhaps other places where money and possessions and all the rest doesnt exist ..
