Formed in 2000, Expansion Project is a Chicago-based quintet that focuses on original music written by it's members.
Chicago jazz critic and writer Neil Tesser describes Expansion Project's music as "...the contemporary timbres of a guitar-based rhythm section, along with a classic trumpet-sax mesh" and says this combination "gives this group's music an iresistible sheen."

Expansion Project is the best Jazz band I ever heard! So maybe I'm bias because Don is my step-brother but you guys really are awesome! Can't wait to come out and see you again!
