buju benjamin was born in the shanty town of dresden in the year of 1941. after training under the witch doctor vivisectionists of tahiti he moved to portsmouth to avoid the war draft in 1977. spurning the punk pretenders of that era, buju championed a new melodic sound that owed nothing to the prog rock dinosaurs of yesteryear. in 1984 he was awarded some sort of fucking medal from the Queen of England after his part in successfully foiling the live bats in clingfilm scam of the previous year. now located in deepest darkest tunisia,, buju continues to pioneer new forms of music from his secret underground labatory below the disused meat factory.

This was written because i find it it highly amusing when people write about themselves in the third person...........................YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
nah man, i haven't gotten a laptop yet... i guess i'm just stuck in my lazy ways of doing things the way i always have. but i am going to get one, hopefully by the end of the year. maybe for Christmas or something. i'll probably go with a Mac. and yeah, Themselves are the best. i checked out Yasson's videos too, good stuff. dying to hear the Swampglow album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! somebody better float me a promo copy of that, soon!
finally got the mix man, good stuff. thanks for sharing that with me. my friend The Josh (top friends) downloaded it for me. he liked it a lot as well and was looking for some more of your music. you should hit him up.
oh yeah and i just checked, all your tunes seem to be working fine now. i shall give them a proper listen in a minute cause theres at least one i dont recognise. but i have been up for like 36 hours or something.
no problem geeze, it's probably a good thing there was no camera as although the gig looked suitably mental it was incredibly sloppy for some reason. despite me being sober all day, i fucked up everything from word go, so many words in the wrong places, so many new arrangements of words had to be done on the fly due to this it was surely the single sloppiest gig ive ever done. yet apart from right at the very start, no-one really noticed i would say, and it seemed generally well recieved, although it was hard to tell as the cat mask i was wearing left me almost completely blind. couldn't see shit. it was a very funny show indeed and i enjoyed myself thoroughly despite the constant errorism. hopefully rusty took some photos, they'll be mental i say...
put some more songs up! like newborn, the APB remix, or anything you've played me in the last month or so that's finished (i guess none of that is yet though?)
dear friend, stranger, influence, bandmate or acquaintance.... (yes this is a comment en masse)
the musical 'Tortoiseshell Male in... the Befuddling Mystery of the Moratorium', original cast recording, performed live at the Impotence Palladium, Whale Island, Pompeii, is now available for free download at the following address...
based on the life of myself, a cat trapped in the body of an embittered 1940s genre detective, this album is the first episode of the continuing saga of my life's great works so far, featuring the excellent acting talent of Pye Wackett, Josef Motley, Joe Black, Abe Normal, Mister Ostritch & the renowned Yasson.
i hope sincerely you enjoy it. thank you for listening, if indeed you do.
