"A four-song EP of pop-rock adventures, One is a merriment of pleasurable choruses and multi-tracked vocals. Its got all the ingredients for the recipe of success and the album was well stirred and cooked. But deeper down in the mix you feel as if theres some slight bit of insincere nuances due to the simplistic nature of the vocals. Yes, its the vibe that this is one of those bands that an A&R executive dreamt up and formed. But thats not the case with Experiment Theory. So maybe thats why we should like them, because they sound pre-molded but arent."
Experiment Theory, "A duo with chick drummer Ashley, and guitarist Levi, took the stage. Ashley possesses amazing chops on drums. Obviously, this gal has been schooled. Her fills were crisp and clean and she plays with savvy confidence. Levi switches between an electric guitar and amplified acoustic, playing mostly catchy original material. Its an odd combination but it works. Yeah, I missed the bass, but Ashley is such a hot player she more than made up for the lack of bass with her aggressive drumming. Its a modern twist on the old duo combination."
I thoroughly enjoyed their “One” and I had a good feeling for this dynamic follow-up. Crowded melodies that launch into a fantastic chorus-feel throughout their enigmatic verses, Experiment Theory likes to perform energetic pop-rock with gusto and gutsy abandon. As a challenging pop act goes, Experiment Theory brings to the table a host of memorable melodies and radio-friendly opuses. Cheers!
