En 1999, 4 passionnes du mouvement Hip Hop (LAPOISS, SEMAWAX, MAKDASS, STYL-H) fondent le groupe EXPLICIT. Des lors, ils mettent en commun leurs idees et leurs projets qui donneront naissance 4 ans plus tard a leur premier EP « PREMIERE SOMMATION ». Du studio a la scene, des mixtapes aux albums et des playlists radio aux intervews TV, 10 ans apres EXPLICIT reste authentique et continue de dire les choses clairement et sans equivoque. Explicit fait partie des rares formations d’artistes rap qui elaborent leurs textes autour de themes aussi divers les uns que les autres tout en gardant l’etique fondamentale du mouvement Hip Hop.
En 2008, « MAINTENANT OU JAMAIS », premier album 17 titres d’EXPLICIT , est deja telecharge plus de 25000 fois sur plusieurs plateformes Internet. "Un veritable florilege de themes, de phases, de creativite et d’authenticite Hip Hop telle qu’on l’apprecie".
