What exactly is EJ? It's basically what you could call a musical project, the brainchild of a teenager named Kyle. He composes instrumental music with a synthesized and electronic sound. EJ has a small but dedicated fan-base.
It began with some experiments in instrumental composition in the tracked music scene in 2005, though it had no name back then. The few songs made then were dug up in late 2006 under the name Exploding Jellyfish (the most random thing Kyle could think of) and paired with some new content that included vocals. This first album was released in the last few minutes of 2006 and didn't go over too well quality-wise.
Taking into consideration what sounded good and what didn't, Kyle dropped the vocals and became instrumental only. Then, in February 2007, he cooked up a phenomenal EP (Short, Seductive, and Stupid) from nothingness in just two weeks. It was and is still popular among the few EJ fans there are.
From there, Kyle worked for most of the remainder of the year on a third album, Return of the Apocalypse, which was first released for sale online in October 2007 and sold a whopping 3 copies. After that, he remixed some of his old songs into Game Boy style and released said remix album in celebration of EJ's first year of life. Then, citing poor sales, he became dedicated to releasing all his music free. Since then, EJ has been dormant, waiting for the next big creative burst...
