Early 2005 found the future members of Explorer eager to begin a new musical project. Dileepan Ganesan, Dan Rosato, Joe Hasan and Fabian Martinez had played together before in different combinations in various local NYC bands. Fueled by an interest in psychedelic rock, ethereal melodies and extended jams, the foursome began writing songs and rehearsing in January 2005 and Explorer debuted on March 11th. Their music is at times focused, at times scattered, at times tight, at times loose, stemming only from the musical instincts of each individual player.
Only time will tell what the future holds for these young masters...
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.
