About me:

Hey, I'm out to promote veganism and inspire people to respect animals through action, education, and outreach. I'm based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota

I work to reduce the suffering of factory farmed animals through outreach and education such as distributing leaflets, cable access shows, food giveaways, and speakers. I also work on building a community of people concerned about these issues, and I enjoy hosting potlucks, dine-outs, and other social events.

A gift of power (in an 11-min. nutshell)

Anthony Marr has debated Creationists since the 1970s. Conclusion: OMNI-SCIENCE terminates Creationism.
www.HOPE-CARE.org
From Stanford U and UC Berkeley:
Anthropology, Dr. Tim White: “Anthony Marr's synthesis is formidable.”
Paleontology, Dr. Carole Hickman: “…an extraordinary intellectual undertaking… a bold and eclectic piece of scholarship…”
Geology, Dr. W.R. Evitt: “... an immensely logical construct… majestic in scope but intrinsically simple, satisfying and optimistic… important ideas with great potential for lessening the conflicts in a troubled world..”
Zoology, Dr. Richard C. Strohman: “... original… thoroughly logical… might indeed fill a large gap in the way we think...”
Institute of Human Origins, Dr. William Kimbel: “... a profound contribution... implications of great depth and breadth for the future course of human actions... too important to ignore..”
Astrophysics, Dr. Vahe Petrosian: “… fascinated... very ambitious task…a beautiful synthesis… captivating... should be of interest not only to experts but to all thinking people of the world.”
Philosophy, Dr. John Dupre: “... a highly intelligent, thoughtful man... incomparably more edifying...”
Anthropology, Dr. John W. Rick: “… very thought provoking… a serious, well-founded vision.”
Philosophy, Dr. John Bogart: “…compelling… moral import…

Would we allow an invading government do this to our country? If not, why allow our own, whose sacred task is to defend it? With wind and solar in abundance, why coal? Corruption, that's why. The full title of this video is "The Debeautification of America-the-Beatiful", but it is "America-the-Less-Beautiful" now. Alternatively, it is called "John Denver weeps for West Virginia".

The only thing worse that I've seen happens in Canada, as presented in this video:

Anthony Marr's other videos can be seem at youtube.com/AnthonyMarr and myspace.com/AnthonyMarr. Please pass them on - for our children, for our countriess and for Mother Earth. Thank you. Anthony

it need not matter whether we have always or never talked. i have you on my friends list, and i want to share this with you.

a friend sent this text message to me. i do not know who the original author is, but its message is something worth a think.

"One day, there will be two days on your tombstone. And all your friends will read them. But all that is really gonna matter is that little dash between them".

enjoy life. and thanks for being on my friends list.

SILENT BUT DEADLY.
Did you know that farmed animals produce more greenhouse gas emissions (18%) than the world's entire transport system (13.5%)? Or that nitrous oxide from animal manure is around 300 times as damaging to the climate as carbon dioxide? Or that methane ( cow and sheep farts/burps to you and me) has 23 times the global warming impact of carbon dioxide?
MAKES YOU THINK DOESN'T IT?
The only genuine way to cut down these harmful emissions is to stop eating meat. To find out more visit www.vegsoc.org/environment , or order your free booklet on 0161 925 2000, green@vegsoc.org.
It's not just a lot of hot air.
