EXPRESS ACTIVE

It's hard to say who or what kind of music is our inspiration, when composing new songs we don't follow any particular artist. For us it is important to remember that music is this special kind of language that helps to express things that are difficult to express through words. What we try to achieve is to get with our message to our audience.. However it is obvious that the music that we listen to is reflected in our style. Each of us listens to different bands that have one common feature - they play really good music! The way the band sounds is a result of creative experiments, our efforts to compromise.. Each of us have a big impact on the final result: Damian brings a lot of logic and order, Draq adds a lot of passion, Pawel adds into all of that his exotic sounds what combined with unlimited optimism of Slawek gives really explosive results! Especially when playing live. There is one more important part of our music - multimedia show. Pictures projected at our concerts fit perfectly the music and are an important factor in building atmosphere and bringing the audience into the unique world of express active band... The creation of the band was a long and painful process, there were more then dozen of different musicians trying over two years to be part of the team. Finally a six months ago the final lineup was achieved so we could focus on preparation to conquer the world :) When performing live we very often invite our friends to play with us (many thanks here to Sylwek and Gerard). We've just finished recording our first demo material so we are now more then happy to share the CD with everybody, not to mention that any invitations for live concerts are welcomed - expressactive@o2.pl!
