About me:

Exquisite Acts & Everyday Rebellions

Exquisite Acts & Everyday Rebellions is a student-organized project based at California Institute of the Arts that seeks to produce discourse around the questions and contexts of contemporary feminist practice in art and society. The project encompasses projects and workshops proposed by students from across the schools of CalArts, a curated exhibition of student, faculty, and alumni works addressing feminism, a feminist performance series, and a day-long symposium of panel discussions with guest artists, activists, and curators.

hey, i know, i know, its a little gay, but guess who i saw in concert the other night? THE POLICE! heh, i know, but i really like em. we were up in the stands, in the very corner, so we couldnt even see the front of the singers. those were the only tickets available, the place was friggin packed! i been so broke the past few months, but after i tried those online survey things that a friend told me about, wow, FINALLY, im making coin again! lol, thats actually i paid for the tickets to the show, and for the awesome afterparty we had at a few bars not too far away. i'm doin okay with it, 300-400 extra bucks a week doin it, and thats just cuz i do it part time after work n whenever i have extra time. its pretty cool. you should try it out. here's the site i use. just click here, and you'll see. it's so easy and simple, and the money is soooo worth it. anyway, i gotta bounce, so hit me up later, k? cya ttyl

Hey Hun,

Hope your weekend is going well. I just went out and had the most delightful dinner with friends.

The only problem I find is now I have too much free time on my hands and no one to spend it with.

Oh well spring is just around the corner and I can atleast get outside and hang by the pool. I do have a few friends that do the same thing I do. Maybe we can vacation together. Some place tropical would be nice, with lots of shopping.

Hey Hun,

Hope your weekend is going well. I just went out and had the most delightful dinner with friends.

I think you were the person who was asking me about my stay at home business. To answer your question, YES it could not be going any better. Last Month was the best yet. Every month the pay gets bigger and bigger,
and I work less and less. I guess it just takes time to build up your credibility with these companies before they start sending out the highest paying surveys. I just received 2 surveys that paid $100 each. Thats $200 for less than an hours work. Go figure! My friend thats unbelieveable. To think I have friends with college degrees not making the kind of money I am and they are working 45 to 60 hours a week for someone else.

REGGIE WILSON/FIST & HEEL PERFORMANCE GROUP at REDCAT

Acclaimed choreographer Reggie Wilson explores intimacy and devotion, libido and love in a seamless collage of music and dance. Eight performers enact the complicated rituals of coupling and the sensual dance of lovers, with the undulating rhythms of traditional African, Caribbean and African American social dance.

Woven with rich live harmony and contemporary beats, Wilson draws on stepping, stomping, shouting and strutting to articulate love, loss and the elegant invitations and rejections of people as they court desire. Gliding between the earliest fist and heel dance styles developed during the era of slavery and the step dances that gave rise to sensations like the Lindy Hop and Electric Slide, Tale is a seductive performance that slips through time and place toward a universal state of passion.

The show runs from April 5-8. For more info, please visit

Thanks for the request and for supporting Ms. Roy!

"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget." - Arundhati Roy
