MySpace a place for friends

EXTAASI is a metal band from Finland. Band was created at spring 1995. During the years the line-up has changed totally, and nowadays only the singer has been in the band since the beginning.

Also the style has evolved. At the beginning Extaasi was playing different kinds of punk, from hardcore to punkrock. Nowadays, the music is quite metal, but you propably can still hear some influences from the earlier. Band has launched their own definition for their music, they call it "grotesque metal".

The lyrics are in Finnish, and English hasn't ever been even an option. Despite that, band has done couple visits outside of Finland (Estonia and Latvia), and the acceptance was more than okay. So the language really isn't the issue.
