I love all kinds of music. One particular kind of music I have a passion for is film scores. I love the epic themes, exciting action music, romance, and drama of the music from movies! A few favorite composers are Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Cliff Eidelman, John Ottman, and Mark Snow. I also enjoy Katie Norris, KC Johns, Jewel, Queen, Aerosmith, Depeche Mode, Rob Dougan, Alanis Morissette, Sarah McLachlan, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington, and Darling Violetta to name a few.

Hi all! My name is John, and this is my myspace page!
Here are a few facts about me:
I LOVE history! From a young age I’ve been fascinated by the past- people, cultures, events, ect… This is the subject I’m majoring in at college, and I’ve finished all the requirements for my major.
In order to earn my BA I need to complete the foreign language requirement (I’ve passed Spanish 101 so I need 102 and 201), a physical education course, and four electives.
After college, my dream is to be an author! I’m open though to any career that involves writing, reading, and researching. I think these are my best skills.
I enjoy visiting national parks, museums, and battlefields! I’ve been to Yorktown, Gettysburg, Fort Raleigh, Antietam, The Walters Art Museum, North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, Jockey’s Ridge State Park, and Harper’s Ferry.
Figure skating and gymnastics are my favorite sports. I love the fact that both of these sports combine amazing athleticism and artistic expression! I’ve followed figure skating since the 1994 Olympics with the Nancy Kerrigan/ Tonya Harding controversy. And I’ve followed gymnastics since the 1996 Olympics when the Magnificent Seven won America’s first team gold medal.
My favorite hobby is collecting autographs. The largest part of my collection is of gymnasts.
I’m pretty into politics, and I try to keep informed about the world around me.
I enjoy all kinds of art! I’ve taken a few art history courses, and I really enjoyed learning the stories behind why a particular piece was created. Two wonderful sites are Art History Resources on the Web and Web Gallery of Art
Finally, I’m a huge fan of comic books!

How are you? Wanted to stop by and say hi...haven't talked to you in awhile! Hope all is well. Anything new and exciting going on? Nothing much going on with me, except work and school. Any luck with the job search?
Good luck with the job hunt. I will be doing the same next year as I will be graduating in December. Should be interesting! Ah yes, Youtube....I love Youtube!!! LOL I watch videos on there constantly, especially great when you can find old footage of competitions you didn't think anyone had anymore. It's great. I could watch old figure skating videos all day, I am a dork like that! :)
Thanks so much for your feedback on the music. Glad you like it! They are really talented and I love them not only because of their music, but as people too. They are wonderful, completely grateful for what they have and support human rights organizations. Since you like Midnight's Crashing so much, here is a free download! Enjoy!
Hope you have a great week. Talk to you soon! Kristine
Hey, That's awesome. yeah I think it's great that you will find a job that you are passionate about. Then it does not seem like work. I wish you luck with that. Thanks for voting for me, remember if you can please vote every day until June 22. Thanks you soooo much:-) Liz
I am one of the 5 finalist in the Serena's contest. On the wemix site you can register at http://www.wemix.com/register.aspx after you register click on the Serena contest and click and vote for my song "Do Your Thing".
Would appreciate your vote. You can vote every day once a day. I was so surprised when I got the e-mail that I was a finalist. Serena herself picked the 5 finalists. So that means she listened to my music and liked it. Even if I don't win that's pretty cool. The song she liked of mine was "Do Your Thing"
The prize is awesome. The winner will go into the studio to properly record or remix the winning song and then go to the song premiere at the Bank of the West Classic, in Stanford, CA., in late July. That song will become the theme song for superstar Serena Williams
How are you? Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I have to admit I haven't watched figure skating as much as I did in previous years. I am going to school in addition to working and I always seem to miss the competitions. I used to record them all the time, I am totally slacking! I heard Sasha may be coming back, thats great. I hope she gets the medal she deserves and doesn't let her nerves get to her. She is amazing and the US needs someone that has the artistry along with the technical ability...not to mention the flexibility! lol
So what is new with you? Have you checked out my page yet? I would love your feedback as I just started running this page for a band. Tell me what you think of the music when you get a chance ok?
