The concept of The League Of Extraordinary Paranormal Women ™ has a seed in the comic book superhero teams like, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Justice League of America, Legion of Super-Heroes and the Justice Society. Even the title "Extraordinary Paranormal Women" evokes Marvel's X-Men. However, the characters in THIS League are Women and mainly from stranger then true paranormal reality, not comics.
The League Of Extraordinary Paranormal Women ™ is for Women, about Women, and supporting Women in all area's of the Paranormal fields including investigators, authors, writers, editors, artists, filmmakers, screenwriters, actresses, and musicians. Please don't mistake us, we love our Men, however we support all Women in the paranormal here!

Amy Williamson has been interested in the Paranormal from an early age, but began to formally research it at the age of 16. While earning her Bachelors of Art in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology and Communications, Amy split the remaining time between Theater and Broadcast Journalism which encompassed being an on-air radio personality for both WOCR and ParaWomenRadio.
In 2007 Amy Co/founded The League of Extraordinary Paranormal Women. The League highlights and profiles Extraordinary Women in the Paranormal! Each Thursday Amy Co/hosts ParaWomenRadio and gets the honor of speaking with Extraordinary Women in the Paranormal (paranormal meaning just not of the "norm") that includes psychics, paranormal investigators, natural healers, hypnotherapists, actresses, artists, writers and the list goes on!
Recently Amy was invited to be on WolfMan Mac's Nightmare Sinema, based in the Detroit area. Amy created her own character, wrote her script and has been asked back as a recurring character.
In 2005 Amy formed a paranormal Investigation group, Haunted Hillsdale. At the same time she began filming a documentary in which she profiles the group investigating haunted locations in Hillsdale Michigan. In addition to filming her documentary, Amy is an avid movie script writer in the genres of Horror and Off-beat Comedy, dabbles in local Community Theater (holds a seat on her local Community Theater Board), and has maintained a career working with Women in the Social Services field for over 13 years.
Amy is grateful to her husband, Ian, and her friends and family for all their support in her Supernatural endeavors.

The Psychic Medium-
Kristy is an internationally renowned Psychic Medium, on-air radio personality,
wife and mom. Her clientele ranges from young to old, law enforcement, clergy, politicians,
physicians, attorneys, domestic goddesses, metaphysical professionals and
celebrities, to every day people. Her dedication and passion to her work is
performed with honesty, integrity and humor, setting her apart from the rest.
She has touched the lives of thousands of people giving spiritual guidance

networks regarding a reality television show. Kristy donates her time assisting law enforcement agencies with investigations involving missing persons,
murder, suicide, arson and psychically profiling criminals. She has earned a
solid reputation for Spirit Releases, Psychic Home Inspections for homebuyers
and haunted house investigations, as well as lecturer at special events. Kristy
will be opening a Ghost Walk, Shadows Beyond the Veil, throughout Michigan next
year and is under contract with Schiffer Publications to write several books on
Michigan’s supernatural history. Kristy is also the co-founder of the League of
Extraordinary Paranormal Women that features women in the Paranormal and hosts a
weekly radio show that highlights women in the paranormal!

The Paranormal Sisters-
Shannon Overland has been fascinated by the paranormal for many years, only to have it repressed by friends and family due to religious dogma. In 2005 she began to merge her beliefs with her interests and a year later made an important step forward by joining Haunted Hillsdale, a local paranormal investigation group, at the suggestion of her sister. Shannon is interested in world travel, having toured extensively throughout Europe and residing in Norway for a period of time. She is a Certified Music Teacher and has been involved in her Community Theater since 1994, both acting and directing. Shannon wishes to thank her sister and best friend, Beth, for encouraging her to find her own truth.
Beth Garofalo began gaming in 1999 while chatting online, although she didn't learn the full mechanics of it until 2003. Since her start, she has participated on a weekly basis in various gaming systems such as Dungeons & Dragons, White Wolf and Gurps. After High School, Beth attended college for a brief stint as an Art Major. She has been a member of Haunted Hillsdale, a paranormal investigation group, since the summer of 2006. Beth would like to thank her boyfriend, Jeff, for all his love, dedication and for spoiling her at lunch.
