UPCOMING EVENTS:
July 21, 2009 - ED&G vice-president and president, Kristin Soro and Johnny Misso, will be behind bars for "good" at Bravo in the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo from 10am-2pm! We, as ED&G, are raising money for Muscular Dystrophy and any donations would be gladly accepted and much appreciated. A secure website is also being set up to go to and make donations.
August 2, 2009 - Soon we’ll have group pricing for Drums Along the Waterfront happening August 2, 6:30 p.m., at Ralph Wilson Stadium. If you’re a parent that could help chaperone this event, that would be awesome! We are looking for a few volunteers.

6/13/09 - ED&G added to the festivities during the grand opening of Monkey See Monkey Do, a new children's bookstore on Main Street in Clarence, NY.
5/30/09 - ED&G had an Enrollment Event and a live performance from ED&G president, Johnny Misso, at the Amherst Celebrates the Arts Celebration taking place from 10am - 5pm at the Amherst Museum in Tonawanda, NY. We thank the Amherst Museum for hosting this exciting arts celebration.
5/15/09 - ED&G would like to welcome our newest Guitar Instructor, Erin Roberts. Erin has had quite the impressive career over the past few years with her band The Juliet Dagger. The Juliet Dagger was one of the first bands to be signed to Goo Goo Doll Robby Takac's label, Good Charamel Records. Erin's band opened for the Goo Goo Dolls on a national tour. She has performed internationally and has numerous recordings under her belt. She has also performed with Lisa Loeb and with Shonen Knife, a HUGE act out of Japan. Erin brings with her a passion for music, a passion for teaching, and a passion to see ED&G succeed. We welcome her to our family!
5/9/09 - YNN, Buffalo's 24-hour TV news station from Time Warner Cable, was at ED&G on Saturday, May 9 to do a news story on the school and it's successful and growing Junior Program for beginner music students under 10-years old. Catch the segment by watching YNN in the days ahead on Time Warner Cable Channel 14 in the city of Buffalo and Channel 9 in surrounding Western New York cities.
4/18/09 - ED&G held the Drum 4 Health Drum Circle on April 18. An all ages fun and educational event! Thank you to all that attended.

11/17/08 - Extreme Drum & Guitar School is now a NYS Department of Education approved school. We're now working hard at getting the location ready for January when we open our doors to enrolled students!
11/17/08 - Yesterday was a great time! The ED&G Rock n' Bowl at AMF Lancaster Lanes allowed us to promote the school, raise money for ED&G, and help out Variety Kids Telethon. We're happy to say we were able to give $350 to Variety Kids Telethon, raised through our Chinese Auction at the event.
During this all-ages celebration, people walked away with plenty of prizes. We want to thank WYRK, Putt Putt Fun Center, Variety Kids Telethon, Buffalo Museum of Science, Kiss 98.5, Crown Plaza Hotel, and ALL the companies that participated in the auction and event. Especially, we'd like to thank AMF Lancaster Lanes! Thanks also to Michael Bly and his band for again providing some great live entertainment.
And thank you to YOU for being there! We hope you had fun...we sure did.
10/31/08 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Oh WOW, there were just so many KIDS! At yesterday's Gallery of Treats event featuring ED&G at the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo, we had just hundreds and hundreds of kids and parents coming by to see us on a non-stop exchange of candy, Halloween greetings, awesome costumes, and ED&G questions, information and contest entries! It seems everyone has a musician in the family these days and we had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with so many kids and adults wanting more information on the Extreme Drum & Guitar School! It was an exciting day.
We want to give a huge thank you to everyone that worked our two tables at this event and to all of the wonderful people that stopped by, including the WGRZ Channel 2 news crew, WYRK-FM, and our hosts at Walden Galleria Mall.
10/16/08 - ED&G was at the UB Center for the Arts last night (October 15) to present musical artists Jim Pirinelli (Buffalo) and Justin Moore (Nashville) as special guests to a sold-out night of live music from WYRK-FM country artists headlined by Jamey Johnson, Ashton Shephard, and Jimmy Wayne.
The Fall Acoustic Night helped out the Food Bank of Western New York. A meet and greet with the headlining artists after the concert was exciting for everyone. Also, ED&G announced another winner for 1-month of free lessons...congratulations to her!
Thank you to everyone who was at the concert and who stopped by to meet us. We also thank UB Center for the Arts and WYRK-FM for their continued support of our work!

These stations hosted the "World's Largest Yard Sale" at the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, NY today. As a sponsor of that event, ED&G had a BLAST! We had more live performance by guitarist and singer, Michael Bly. Kids and adults visiting us also had a chance to jam on a drum kit and show off their skills (or, at least, satisfy their curiosity). This second ED&G Enrollment Event was even busier and more fun than the first. We're excited that word is getting around town about what we offer. We want to thank Michael Bly for his continued support and thank YOU if you stopped by to see us today. We also send our congratulations to Dan B., the winner of our 1-month giveaway of free lessons!

9/1/08 - We had an exciting day on August 30 at the Eastern Hills Mall in Williamsville, NY. ED&G staff and teachers talked with lots of interested folks throughout the day and we even got a couple enrollments started right there on the spot. We had live performances by guitarist and singer, Michael Bly, and a special performance by singer and ED&G exec, Kristin Soro. Also taking the microphone were some of the kids from ED&G as well as a kid or two from the mall audience not too shy to sing their favorite tunes! It was great fun! We also send our congratulations to Emily W., the winner of our 3-month school enrollment giveaway!
Now we invite YOU to join us for an EVEN BIGGER event on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds in Hamburg, NY. ED&G will be there in support of the "World's Largest Yard Sale" brought to you by Regent Broadcasting of Buffalo, Inc. and it's stable of local radio stations.

8/30/08 - ED&G will be hosting its first ENROLLMENT EVENT for new guitar and drum students of all ages, beginners and advanced! There will be live band acoustic performances and you'll get free gifts when you sign up for lessons with the school. The event will be at Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, NY. Our 7-year old son, Joey, has been taking lessons with Johnny Misso, at the Extreme Drum and Guitar School, since the beginning of May. Although he had previous instruction in the past, the growth that he has made in only FIVE lessons with Johnny is incredible! Joey is reading music and playing beats that we never would have expected him to be tackling this early in the game. He loves Johnny and his lessons and can't wait to return each week.
ED&G is a truly unique learning facility. The classes are fun and interactive, as there is a true partnership between the instructors and their pupils. The teachers have a very animated, yet patient and structured approach in their teaching technique, which makes learning exciting for students of any age, particularly for the younger ones who tend to lose focus easily.
We are privilaged to have such an institution in the WNY area. The facilities at ED&G are superior to those of any other, with large classrooms that can accommodate many people at one time, knowledgeable and gifted instructors, and top-notch equipment for the students to learn on.
