Extremum was founded in 1998, Bulgaria, Sofia. Initially its members are:
Aleksandar Mladenov (Sasho)- lead vocal
Boris Grudev (Bobby)- guitar
Mladenka Grudeva (Denny)- bass and back vocal
Anton Radoslavov (Tonny)- drums
In 1999 Sasho leaves the band and Denny becomes lead vocal. At the end of 1999 Tonny leaves. From 2000 to 2003 Julian Nedkov (Juli) plays the drums.
From November 2003 Extremum's drummer is Stoyan Petrov.

The band made their own first maxi single 'Deep Satisfaction' (4 songs) in Bulgaria, Plovdiv- studio 'Sound Design'- 2001. Producer Sasho Jelev. Published by 'Musik-Galerie'.
Single 'That's His Name'- recorded in 'Graffitti' studio- Sofia- 2003. Producer 'Graffitti studio'.
Maxi single 'In the Day' came up and is on the market since 11.11.2005. The CD has 4 songs and multimedia including: bio, info, photos, lyrics and MP3. The records were made at 'Negativestudio'.
On 17.01.2006, the band recorded 'Fly again', a song especially for the 2006 Eurovizion Contest. The most interesting thing about it that for a first time here they use a folk-lore instrument (bagpipe). The recording was done at the 'Negativestudio', Sofia.
2008- The single ‘Awake from the dream’ came up. The song is recorded with the help of the girl band ‘Strrings’, wich is the second project they have worked on together after ‘Bring back the past’.
2009- New album "Not the end" came up in September.
Extremum combines a modern beat, with a powerful sound and the melody of alternative rock. Their style is a combination of different musical influences along with their own ideas. Their lyrics are inspired by Biblical message, expressing their faith in Jesus Christ.

2-ри ноември, София - тройна българо-френска хардкор промоция
Fire at Will (Франция) Nine Eleven (Франция) Резервен план @ The Box
2-ри ноември - две френски групи ще гостуват в софийския клуб "The Box" (бул. Александър Стамболийски 41, на 100 м. от Света Неделя), за да представят чисто новите си албуми. Всъщност Fire at Will и Nine Eleven са първите френски хардкор групи, които ще посетят страната ни, въпреки вече 20-годишната история на тази сцена в България и визитите на банди от почти цял свят. С тях ще свирят и пловдивчаните от Резервен план, които пък в момента финализират своя втори EP диск и ще го издадат именно на 2-ри ноември. Заглавието му е "Нека горят" и ще съдържа шест парчета, едно от които кавър на Gorilla Biscuits.
Без да се увличаме около историите на съставите те пращаме директно към техните myspace профили, за да ги чуеш, защото самите те са такива - бързи и без каквито и да било уводи - кратки и ясни песни с много хорове:
Ударен хардкор пънк от старата школа, който задължително трябва да бъде чут на живо! Ще бъде промотирана и хардкор компилацията "Compassion against cruelty" в защита правата на животните. Представяните дискове ще могат да бъдат намерени на място в клуба. Освен това след този концерт HC Spirit ще организират подобни изяви на живо вече доста по-рядко. Началото ще бъде дадено в 20:00 часа, а входът отново е сведен до минимум за две чужди банди и една от Пловдив - 7 лева.
