Eyal Podell is both a writer and an actor. Since arriving in Los Angeles Eyal has worked consistently in both film and television. From his big screen debut playing Al Pacino’s son in The Insider to working alongside Gene Hackman in Behind Enemy Lines. Additional film credits include Unconditional Love, Blowing Smoke, and the independent feature Hard Scrambled, which premiered at the 2006 Cinquest Film Festival. He has starred in the ABC family original film A Pizza My Heart, and in the Hallmark Channel’s Mystery Woman: At First Sight. Additional television credits include The West Wing, ER, Without a Trace, CSI, E-Ring, Commander in Chief, Crossing Jordan, Eyes, Spike Lee’s Sucker Free City, MTV's Undressed, and many others. In 2002 he travelled to the Cannes Film Festival to perform in and work on the short film "Manual Labor" that eventually went on to win the Chrysler Million dollar film festival. Eyal has also written three screen plays including Homeland, Made In China and The Space Within - the latter two with co-writer Jonathon E. Stewart (JStew).

Eyal was born in Tel Aviv, and lived in Hong Kong before moving to the United States at the age of eight. He grew up in the suburbs of New York City and completed his education at Dartmouth College. Trained as a classical actor at the National Theater Institute, Eyal has also studied with the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) in Stratford, England.

From 2006 - 2008 he was cast on the CBS daytime drama The Young & The Restless in the recurring role of Professor Adrian Korbel. Eyal can be seen in the adventure drama 'Defying Gravity' this summer on ABC.
