About me:

Some wise words to consider:
"Cautious, careful people always casting about to preserve their reputation or social standards never can bring about reform.” - Susan B. Anthony

“Biological possibility and desire are not the same as biological need. Women have childbearing equipment. For them to choose not to use the equipment is no more blocking what is instinctive than it is for a man who, muscles or no, chooses not to be a weightlifter.” - Betty Rollin

"Scratch most feminists and underneath there is a woman who longs to be a sex object. The difference is that is not all she wants to be." - Betty Rollin

"Truth does not demand belief. Scientists do not join hands every Sunday, singing, yes, gravity is real! I will have faith! I will be strong! I believe in my heart that what goes up, up, up must come down, down. down. Amen! If they did, we would think they were pretty insecure about it." - Dan Barker

"The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion." - Karl Marx

"The best cure for Christianity is reading the Bible." - Mark Twain

"The thug is aware that loudness convinces sixty persons where reasoning convinces but one." - Mark Twain

Angry, open-minded, thoughtful, aware, sexual, curious, empathetic, clingy, opinionated, sleepy, easily depressed, confident, easily amused, traumatized.

Don't tell me I'm hot or cute. I really don't give a shit.

Who I'd like to meet:

SDSU students or people with cars, because I do not drive. I need girl friends!!!!! Shopping buddies who will actually shop and have money to spend! Not those people who just stare at you and make you feel guilty. Also, I'd like to encounter a pack of corgis. hehe...

Yes it would most definitely suck suck. So what is it that you want to be? Wasn't it an 11th grade teacher or something? Sorry if my memory is bad hah. It's been a while. Oh and I completely agree with your views on the beauty school wannabes lol. There's a salon on every frigging corner I think they are good now! I love how we're whoring each others spaces haha. Or at least I am to yours :) Let me know if things get better for you and your whole situation... Haha. I really hope it's a phase.

They have a community college in Oceanside that I could go to but it's too far, like forty minutes or something or I'd walk my ass to school haha. Yes I want forensics, but you have to earn that part. If I just wanted to be a lab tech I could go to one of the specialization universities in like Kentucky lol... But I want to be at the sociology/criminology end of things so I'll need to say, major in criminal justice or criminology with a concentration in forensic science (there's a ton of forensic jobs to choose from, anthropology, dentistry, chemistry or biology, serology- study of blood, etc.). Also, I would probably need to go past a bachelor's degree with today's competative economy. See, I've planned this all out to a t. I've researched every college and university that supports forensics and I have my "dream school" picked out hah. Most likely I would get my general education at a community college because, from what I've heard, that part is basically the same if your paying 5 grand or 500 grand lol. Correct me if I'm wrong. And I have applied (thinking I was getting a car) for financial aid at the college in Oceanside and I qualify for the Pell Grant and this other one but I forget. Plus, the military is starting to pay the dependents way for school as well now with the GI Bill. I'd save that for a university though, where I'd need it haha. Wow I just totally bored you out of your life huh? I get excited about this stuff. Sorry haha. I've been thinking that when Mike deploys (supposedly in May) I'll come back to Santee and go to Grossmomt- it's literally the dream community college for forensic people. They are almost the only one in the nation that have a general ed program partnered with forensics... It's supposed to be one of the most rigerous as well. I want to goooo sooo bad!!!! Haha. It's just the transport thing, literally something so dumb. I think I'll start entering those contests to win those cars in the mall haha. Desperate times dammit!

History or Government. Oh how I'd love to tell kids like it is in America. This idea excites me.

So, Teachers for America is a Non-Profit Organization that sends recent college grads to teach in poorer, either rural or full of children of difficult socio-economical backgrounds. It's pretty amazing and I hope to go to a big city on the left coast, if I get it. But that's way advanced thinking. Fingers crossed.
