originally founded in 1999 just as a project by three happy friends to release a 5 song demo recorded on a 4-track...
in the years of our existence we started to play live and released several tracks on records:
"klaustrophilia" split 7" with clangor,
"endlager" on the V.A. "no speed limit vol. 3" DCD,
3 track split 10" with idiot savant,
"zer(ge)stoertes selbstbild" split 7" with hartsoeker,
and more to come...still spewing out our anti-nihilistic, anti-anthropocentric selfhatecore....
....and yes we used the name of GRIEFs instrumental on the "TORSO" dlp and the spelling of EYEHATEGOD to name our project...

New album out now! Press-release from a label: New album by the leading Ukrainian doom death band AUTUMNIA! Including in five majestic hymns "O'Funeralia" absorbed all the best traits characteristic of previous work of this group: excellent sound, beautiful melodies, perfect skill and mighty voice by Vladislav Shahin (also voice in Mournful Gust). What’s more for recording of the album extra musicians were invited who performed the parts of bass, piano and violin that introduced new mood and shades into the sound. Packed with gold/black printed cover including an exclusive poster, EHL/Hartsoeker split vinyl from German Useless Rec. is a true relic for both fans of slow torturecore and faster crusty thrashcore. EYEHATELUCY is “anti-anthropocentric self-hatecore” trio (Bert, Mani, Dirk) and their instruments are just bass, drums and vocal. The band put out debut tape The First Attempt in 1999, then did some other split releases with Clangor and Idiot Savant, also had a few compilation appearances. Their side on this split 7'' is only one track titled Zer(ge)störtes Selbstbild (it could be translated as: Shattered Self-portrait) and it was ‘recorded and mixed sometimes in early 2001 as first take on 8-track recorder’. It begins with a sample of calming female spoken-word and some romantic music background, but the things are drastically changed when EHL start to play. Distorted, low and heavy bass-and-drums monotony is a perfect setting for desperately depressive vocal with German lyrics about the wrongful society and individual self-hating. Put these things together and you may have an idea about what EyeHateLucy is: some seriously torturous anti-humanity Sludge core, suitable for fans of Noothgrush, Iron Monkey or Moss… (review excerpt from Black Syrup zine, issue 2)...
