We have decided to call it a day and have disbanded. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us, got us gigs, put us up for the night, supported us, bought our cd's, had nice things to say to us, drank with us and to all the bands we've had the pleasure of playing with over the last 5 years.
We will keep this page alive and will shortly be adding a couple of unreleased tracks for download so please feel free to do so.
Please also take the time to check out our friends as there are some very good bands amongst them who need your support.

Taken from Cold Dead Hands
Dundee's Eye could be called post-rock, however, its a fairly bland label for a band that is never less than enthralling, be they navigating through a gentle calm or riding the crest of a thunderous wave of sound. Although the compositions are fluid they hold your attention where many less able bands disappear into their own collective anus. Couple this with the intimacy the band conjure through lighting and your in for one of the most memorable performances you're likely to see in a small venue.

Purveyors of flawless post-rock, Eye were first up to test the acoustic resolve of the claustrophobic Henrys stage. Result? Soaring ambient passages, layered thick with instrumental emotion and hair-raising distortion-fed crescendos. Few on the live circuit can raise a crowd up in ethereal rapture and crash down again in a sensual overload of sound quite so adeptly.

EASTSTRIKEWEST (formerly known as Threemovements) - London based band who formed in 2007 from the remains of Threemovements. Epic post-rock in the vein of Devil Sold His Soul, Boards Of Canada & Explosions In The Sky. we all at hitcher just want to quickly point out that we are all saddened by your decision to call it a night. Eye have been a massive inspiration to us and we hope that we'll hear from new projects soon.

sad, sad, bloody sad news guys. James and chaz have already summed up how sad but i'll add a few words. Eye were a great band. There, i hope we will all meet up again soon.
