About me:

Lisa Veldon Stokes was born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn. The eldest of ten children, Lisa has been a leader at home and in her community. The person that she has become is a compilation of all her experiences. In her works, she invites you into the urban life through her eyes, hence the name Eyes on You Ent., of which she is Chief Executive Officer. Her passion for film was developed in high school where she would co-write and co-produce plays for neighborhood production. After earning her Masters in Sociology from Long Island University, Lisa took another step towards her dream when she wrote, produced and directed, “Twisted Love” an urban tale ,“Living on the Low” a documentary, that gives an inside look into the dynamics of bisexuality and how it relates to the familial institution, "House Money", about friendship and betrayal and "Salaam", about bringing peace to the Middle East. These projects are a great start to the plethora of tales from the hood that Lisa V. Stokes has to share. Watch out world, Lisa V. has her eyes on you. video
