Originally formed out of a dingy garage in Southern California, Eyeshine broke into the underground rock scene in 2006 with their debut EP, "How About That."
The band's first album, "Red Stripes White Lights", unites Johnny Yong Bosch's introspective melodies with aggressive guitars to combine together some seriously inspired tracks. With standout gems like "Sunday Flower" and "Not Really Good," look for Eyeshine to be a major figure in the indie rock landscape for years to come.
Johnny and Maurice began performing together 10 years ago in a church band. They eventually decided to take a shot at writing and playing their own original music. The band went through many incarnations until settling on the name Eyeshine in 2004.
Recently losing a long time bassist and a lead guitarist, Eyeshine has found 2 new members (Eddie and Tori) and continues on with their new album "My Paper Kingdom" and new single "Fighting."

You guys were great this weekend! It would be awesome if you could make it to MTAC in April! I'd love it if you could send us the video of us writing your name in the sand (or post it on youtube).
i bought my paper kingdom at anime south of saturday. the whole car ride home i listened to it. i was headbanging in the passenger side. my mom didn't really care, but i got some strange looks from passersby. anyway, the whole point is that i really enjoyed the cd, and the show on saturday. u guys are seriously epic
Hey I was at your show today at animesouth. You guys were amazing. I want to thank you guys for giving me a copy of your set list and for signing it and taking a photo with me!
I saw you guys today (Dec. 19) at Anime South V. The show was awesome but there was a slight problem. I was one of the few people who were sitting in the back and the vocals were kind of hard to hear. You did mention that the equipment was not yours and I also believe it was because of the room size. The small size and the volume of the instruments made it hard to hear the lyrics but that did not make the concert any less awesome. I had to leave early and was not able to catch you guys 10:00 performance.
I hope to see you guys again. You will always have a space on my playlist!
I dont know if you guys check the metro forums alot but there are a lot of people on there requesting you guys! Im getting a bunch of my friends to mention you guys in the forum as well. So hopefully I can see you there! :]
