If you're a Country recording artist we would like to invite you to join us on ezFolk.com to share your music and videos. The ezFolk site is a well-established and friendly music community whose focus throughout the life of the site has been folk music. That will continue, but we would like to also offer Country artists an opportunity to join us.
Please drop in and take a look around. If you've been looking for a place to share your music this may be just right for you, and all types of Country music are welcome.
We already have well over 2,000 artists who are sharing thousands of songs on ezFolk so come by and see who is already a part of our site. If you already have a website and/or a MySpace music page, that's great! The ezFolk site is not meant to replace that but to complement what you already have and give you another free outlet where you can promote your music. Many of our artists use their ezFolk space as their main website. It's easy to set up and you can upload as many MP3s and videos as you like. You can even sell CDs and other merchandise through your own store at no cost other than standard PayPal fees. If you prefer to sell your MP3s, or any other digital files you can do that through your personal ezFolk store and we'll handle the payments and deliver the files electronically.

Lasso (elastique) play at Sound Of Mu (Markveien 58, 0550 Oslo) this Sunday, October 4th. We're supporting indie-folk band The Burning Hell and Black Molly, both from Canada. With three acts playing and us probably on first, we could be starting as early as 8 p.m. I expect entry will cost around kr 50,-
Tuesday, October 6th, Lasso play their own concert at Månefisken Café (Sagveien 23A-5, 0459 Oslo). Between two waterfalls by Oslo’s river, Akerselva, lies the legendary Moonfish. That’s where Lasso go sunfishing. Entry is free. 9 p.m. should be a good time to come.
